1. Early dinner : This is the most underrated routine that one pays least attention to. An early dinner by 7 is a precursor for 9pm sleeping habit
2. Phone away : Stay away from this after 6.30 pm. Or at least 3 hrs before bed time.
3. 7pm deadline : End your physical & mental hunger everyday 2hrs before you sleep. The next morning you’ll be as fresh as ever. I sleep at 9 so My contact with the outside world ends at 7.
4. Talk to your loved one’s : This has to be the last thing you do every single day. Soul full conversations can strengthen the bond & kill procrastination & laziness. Once your love pot is full. There’s no stopping. This is actual talk, Not Netflix & chill. LISTEN & RESPOND !!!. Don't just LISTEN & LEAVE.
5. Feeling accomplished : Make sure you’ve done your part & effectively utilized your time so that mental accomplishment is reflected in the food you eat.
6. Crisp & Clean sheets : The sheets on your bed can tell everything about how well you’re going to sleep. Crisp, Clean & fresh sheets are indeed a must.
7. Light & darkness : I always keep my room pitch dark. This naturally helps one internalize & focus on the inner voice compared to the outside noise. Clothing around your eyelids will deepen your sleep.
8. Thanking : The only way to perform at your peak the following day is to thank everything you had today. Gratitude can move mountains. It doesn't matter how bad your day was, Be thankful for it.
9. What next : Give a mental instruction of everything you’re going to do the next day. By doing this, you’re gonna be in charge of the day. You'll feel more alive & sane. This is the only way you will control time. This is one of the easiest ways to get into deep sleep.
10. Silence : 20 - 30 Minutes of silence before you fall asleep is a must if you wish to work in God mode the following day. If you have the habit of reading then you're on the right path. This has worked wonders for me over the last decade.
